Description:Lockheed Martin's SOF GLSS Team, the leading provider of a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance and sustainment services is seeking a Helpdesk - Tier 1/2 Technician to join the SOF GLSS team in Lexington, KY. The candidate will perform classified Helpdesk - Tier 1/2 Technician duties supporting multiple Special Operations groups and must have a working knowledge of Tier 1/2 Helpdesk actions.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Helpdesk - Tier 1/2 Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Serves as Tier 1-2 Helpdesk Technician in Knowledge Fusion CellProvides on-site technical support for all End UsersDiagnoses, identifies, and isolates problems based on interaction with UsersResearches and analyzes problems using own expertise, historical database records, knowledge systems, and internal/external points of contactPerforms system updates, PC images, user account management, peripheral maintenance, user application T/S, workstation management, and documentationAlerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problemsAssists Senior System AdministratorApplies appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycleBasic knowledge of virtualization technology and enterprise level storage equipment requiredApplies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques utilized, and information gathered from system Users to develop softwarePerforms other duties as assigned.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
