Description:You will be the Subcontract Administrator for the Lexington, KY area and must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Subcontract Administrator embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team, your duties will include:Developing the Terms and Conditions flow for SOF and Managing the organizations T&C process.Work through Negotiating Terms and Conditions with the Supplier(s) and related SME's on program.Supporting Negotiations with Buyers/SCA's and suppliers to close timely on open actions.Managing basic and on occasion complex subcontracts, including those with Spec/SOW(Statement of Work) driven requirements, and other specific procurements, as required.Preparing and releasing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), receiving, analyzing, and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract prices, terms, and conditions, selecting and/or recommending subcontractors, conducting "Best Value" Competitions, documenting agreements, administering resulting subcontracts / POs, including subcontract / PO closeout.Managing supplier relationships and supplier performance to achieve program and customer requirements and goals for Sales, Orders, and Profit.

Lexington, is in the heart of the Bluegrass and is the second-largest city in Kentucky, known as the "Horse Capital of the World". Louisville is about a 90 minute drive to the east. Cincinnati, Ohio is about 2 hours to the north. Indianapolis, Indiana is about 3 hours to the Northwest. Nashville, TN is about 4 hours Southwest.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
