GENERAL FUNCTION This senior position plans, directs and performs JD Edwards EnterpriseOne design, development, configuration, implementation and operations. This position also directly manages internal and third-party programming and business/systems analysts to provide application development, functional configuration, system operations and Tier 2/3 helpdesk support. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the ERP Team and third-party resources to provide systems and application configuration, development and support services Plan, organize and direct the day-to-day ERP operations to maintain sufficient coverage and capacity to support business operations Understand and comply with corporate information security and privacy policies Establish and maintain an ERP systems strategy and technology roadmap Manage and provide business/technical analysis services to ensure thorough understanding of business, project, integration, enhancement and maintenance requests Manage and provide design/development/testing for JD Edwards and related applications using JD Edwards, internally developed and third-party tools Manage and provide integration services to effectively interface JD Edwards with corporate, commercial and partner systems/applications Support JD Edwards and related technologies in an IBM iSeries backend/Windows frontend environment providing high performance, secure and cost-effective business solutions and effective issue resolution Resolve complex user and applications issues expeditiously by providing Tier 2/3 support resources for the IS Help Desk for JD Edwards and related applications Hire, train and develop ERP Team members to create an environment in which individuals can succeed, want to do their best and have a clear understanding of how they contribute to the organization Define and document Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity plans and co-lead response to disaster/availability events, security audits, vulnerability and threat assessments, and data, network or system intrusions Evaluate JD Edwards ASUs and ESUs for applicability and ensure required CNC activates are performed timely for production, test and development environments Write and maintain documentation for the development and use of application programs in accordance with company standards. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience, and 7 years of professional experience managing all aspects of JD Edwards systems, development, and related systems/technologies Experience leading a dispersed team supporting a multi-division ERP system In-depth understanding of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications, CNC, EDI, and related systems in an iSeries/Windows environment Experience managing ERP systems and software capacity, upgrades and vulnerabilities using best practices, advanced tools and lifecycle awareness Enterprise (multi-company) security knowledge and implementation experience Experience defining and documenting Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity plans and leading response teams for disaster/availability events Ability to effectively communicate with business leaders to understand and support divisional and department initiatives and goals Strong written and verbal communication skills Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
