A hospital in Southern Idaho is in need of an RN with 3+ years of experience with Women's Services (L&D and PP) for a 13 week travel assignment.The nurses will be working 12 hour shifts.Ideal candidates must have 3+ years experience with L&D, Post-Partum, and OR Circulation / Triage.Job Requirements

Must have 3 years of L&D experienceMust have mother baby experience- prefer 1 yearOkay with a first time traveler.Must have experience and be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, Circulate C/S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care.Must have experience with magnesium.Charge nurse experience preferred.Are RNs required to titrate drips?: YesCommon titratable &/or set rate drips: Yes Pitocin Protocol, Magnesium Protocol, Insulin drips (occasionally)Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have experience with magnesium, attend deliveries, provide 1 hour of newborn care, triage, circulate in C/SSchedule Information

- # of LDRP Beds: 14- # of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 2 suites- # of Triage beds: 4- # of Births per day/month/year?: 90/month, 1200/year- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: Follow AWHONN Staffing Standards.- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 32 week gestation and greater, various medical conditions- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Admin Supervisor on every shift. Charge RNs do not take an assignment.
