Kafka Admin Architect

Kafka Admin Architect Remote - client based in Plano, TX Required Skills: Java, Spring Boot Extensive experience in Kafka Admin (Hands-on experience on Apache or confluent Kafka platform) Nice to have skills Technical Skills: Devops tooling like Docker, kubernette, Jenkins etc. Job Description & Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Kafka Admin and will work in a hybrid model with day shifts. The Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and robust systems that align with our company's goals and objectives. • Strong knowledge on Messaging and streaming patterns and Architecture (10-14 years of experience) • Strong Hands-on experience on apache or confluent Kafka platform • Extensive Hands on experience on installing Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka connect, schema registry, Rest proxy and Kafka Control center. • Provide Architecture consulting and support on o kafka replication, high availability and optimum performance solutions o Kafka security and monitoring and alerting o Kafka DR solutions o Automations around Kafka • Experience in integrating kafka with consumer and producer applications using any of the programming languages • Good insights into Kafka Governance implementation • Work with customer team for onboarding to Kafka platform o Demonstrate and interact with various customer team and stakeholder on Kafka Management requirements and technical discussions o Should have understanding of Integration patterns and middleware concepts o Support Project manager for delivery of program • Create approach notes, roadmap and product comparison/fitment matrix for the customer requirements • Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluation on interoperable technology platforms • Good written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge on Devops tooling like Docker,kubernette,Jenkins,etc.
