Meta's People Engineering Team has the responsibility of building applications and experiences for Meta's engineers, who change the world. Workday sits at the middle of all people data and integrates with dozens of internal applications and hundreds of external systems. As an Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in re-imagining productivity by shipping transformative products that serve Meta's employees and business groups. The ideal candidate will question common assumptions, rethink existing design, configurations, and see every challenge as an opportunity for system improvements. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to scale the business, evaluate current architecture, solve complex business problems for HR and Global Payroll and inspire the team to challenge the status quo.
Workday Integration Engineer Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert on large collections of Workday integrationsLead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday IntegrationsCreate detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycleWork with business stakeholders to determine problem areas and overall impact of projectsResearch integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders. Develop plans to more forward the overall Workday strategy for MetaPartner with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on objectives and programsHelp manage the timelines and deliverables within large, multi-month projectsUnderstand data flows and system usage between internal systems and Workday, driving alignment with other system ownersDrive an overall data strategy for people-related data and Workday's place in itMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.8+ years of experience working in WorkdayAt least one full implementation of Workday, with demonstrated Workday technical and integrations experience6+ years of experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors6+ years experience developing Workday custom reports and calculated fields6+ years' experience integrating systems with third-party service vendorsPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar fieldEnthusiastic about solving complex, system-to-system integration problemsFamiliarity with Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data loads, payroll configurations and maintenanceProven record of accomplishment of effectively interacting with large sets of internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with stakeholders and usersExperience in Workday Extend based application implementationExperience driving large architectural changes involving Workday and other systems

$166,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
