Job Responsibilities
Report to Independence Tooling Operations ManagerProduce Machine Assembled Tools, Jigs, Fixtures, and GaugesUtilize blueprints, sketches, specifications, and descriptions to develop, machine, and assemble various toolsApply knowledge of materials, machining techniques, and assembly methodsRead and interpret blueprints accuratelyProficiently use hand tools such as calipers and gaugesQualifications
Familiarity with automotive and aerospace tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gaugesPrior assembly experience is requiredAbility to operate shop machinery effectivelyWillingness to work overtime, including Saturdays as needed, with adaptability to fluctuating workloadsWelding experience is preferredBenefits
