Abacus Technology is seeking an Enterprise Architect to support IT and business infrastructure for the NASA OCIO Strategy and Architecture Office (SAO) on the eMITS program at NASA Headquarters. This is a full-time position.Responsibilities

Develop and implement a business-outcome driven Enterprise Architecture while supporting the development, maturation, and documentation of NASA's Business Capability Model to recommend and align required capabilities to achieve business outcomes.Provide expertise for architectural modeling, including requirements, toolset analysis, toolset use, and publishing of enterprise reference models and support development, maintenance, and ongoing maturation of enterprise level reference architectures including business, technology, data, cyber security, applications, and integration.Qualifications

15+ years experience in enterprise architecture. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Certification in Enterprise Architecture desired. Must have excellent communication skills including the ability to build relationships and effectively interact with and influence across all organizational levels including senior executives. Able to accurately assess and understand customer needs and work with a sense of urgency to satisfy those needs within negotiated timeframes. Experience in translating high-level business and user requirements into functional and quality specifications with the appropriate level of detail. Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate information, reconcile conflicts, synthesize low-level information at a higher level and distinguish user requests from true needs and solution ideas from requirements. Able to present technical presentations to a technical and non-technical business audience. Able to operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability. Proven experience in documenting and defining architectures using industry standard tools. Effective consultative skills across a multi-functional environment. Must possess an ability to identify implications and alternatives in business terms of technology tradeoffs. Experience with The Open Group's ArchiMate Framework, ArchiMate Modeling Tool, and Github preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lync, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box. Must be willing to travel occasionally.
