Overjet is seeking an experienced and dynamic People Partner to collaborate with department leaders in building and sustaining a high-performing company where employees thrive. This role is integral to the continuous development of a strong, people-centric culture and will work closely with our leadership team to provide strategic and operational support across all facets of HR. The position will report directly to the Head of People and Talent.Responsibilities
Partner with department leaders to drive organizational performance, ensuring alignment with Overjet's business objectives and cultural values.Serve as a thought partner to department leaders and managers by advising on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.Act as a trusted advisor to all employees, fostering stronger relationships, building morale, and increasing productivity and retention.Lead HR processes related to performance reviews, engagement cycles, compensation planning, and employee relations, ensuring they reflect Overjet's cultural values.Partner closely with the Finance and Leadership teams on company budgeting and key financial metrics.Own operational tasks in the Bay Area office to support team productivity and engagement for both in-office and remote employees.Qualifications
BA/BS required5+ years of experience as a People Business Partner/HR Business Partner; ideally has experience in high-growth tech and global operationsExperience partnering with managers and employees to manage performance and introduce programs that will improve the employee experienceExperience working with a technical workforce (engineering, product, etc.)Experience designing and deploying HR systems and processesExperience with core HR domains, including performance management, organizational design, talent management, compensation, and employee relationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsEmbodies Overjet values: Excellence, Velocity, Ownership, Win-Win, and GrowthAbility to work a hybrid schedule, commuting to one of our geo-hub offices in the Bay Area two days a weekOur Hybrid Workplace
