We are Australia’s largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally.The OpportunityBased in Kalgoorlie, the Branch Manager is accountable for managing operations across 2 sites, whilst delivering exceptional service quality to customers and ultimately achieving operational and business performance targets.Provide frontline Health & Safety, Operational, Financial and Maintenance leadership to a diverse team of ~25 employees.Drive a culture of compliance and safety to ensure effective risk and compliance initiatives are established and promoted.Ensure that appropriate performance reviews, talent management and succession plans are in place to maximise engagement and retention of employees.Ensure the appropriate equipment is available to meet operational requirements.Partner with the commercial finance team to deliver data integrity and process improvements for sustainable growth in market.Monitor and manage activities of the Branch and be accountable for the overall operational and financial performance including Profit and Loss reporting, budget preparation, forecast reviews, financial performance and achieving agreed financial/operational targets.Manage a substantial local government waste services portfolio.About YouYou will likely have an operational leadership background in Transport/Logistics, ideally with some exposure to waste management.Strong track record of safety leadership and performance.Hands-on frontline leadership approach.Possess commercial grounding to analyse pricing, tenders, quotes etc.Demonstrated experience and understanding of industrial relations.Well-developed experience with P&L management with sound financial acumen.Extensive experience in influencing/negotiating internally and externally.BenefitsCompetitive salary packageFlexible working arrangementsCareer opportunities in a high growth, Australian businessSupportive and safe work environmentPaid parental leaveGreat company benefits: Employee share program, company discounts, salary packaging, flu vaccinations, EAP, discounts on private health insurance and more.Our ProcessOur recruitment process involves a number of checks including, but not limited to, reference checks, verification of qualifications, licences and right-to-work status.We are dedicated to improving employment outcomes and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
