Who we're looking for:

Toyota's North America Finance Team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Intern.

NA Finance's Mission:

Support North America and Toyota Motors Corporation executive management with key trade-off decisions, planning, reporting, and other analysis to drive profit objectives.

NA Finance's Vision:

Utilize business analytics to visualize information, provide guidance, and gain insight into customer preferences to make key business decisions in a timely manner.

What you'll be doing:

Activities in this role may include:Partner with budget owners to develop quarterly budget/ forecast, including analysis of revenue, labor, cost of sales, fixed costs, and capital investmentsCollaborate with budget owners to understand monthly results and prepare an analysis to support month-end closePrepare presentations to inform leadership on the latest full-year budget/forecast and monthly performance tracking. Communicate potential risks and opportunitiesSupport Pricing team through cost reviews, sales optimization analysis, foreign exchange rate studies, and other activitiesSupport Manufacturing reporting & forecasting through analysis of individual manufacturing company results and forecasts in specialized areas such as SLDM (selling less direct material), labor, fixed costs, and variable costsCollaborate with divisions on business case development, providing guidance to ensure financials are accurate and success is measurableCoordinate with internal stakeholders to align on a consolidated forecastSupport special projects and analysis as neededInternship Eligibility:

Currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited MBA or master's degree programAvailable to work full-time during the Summer 2025 termGPA of 2.7 or higherMust be at least 18 years of age or olderPosition is located in Plano, Texas and will consist of a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some hybrid workLawful, unlimited authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipReliable transportation as you may be traveling among our various facilitiesQualifications:

A successful candidate will have:

Strong initiative, ability to work and excel in pressure situationsAbility to effectively communicate persuasively through PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and emails with senior leadersStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and effectively apply data manipulation tools to analyze large datasets - Tableau and Alteryx highly desiredAttention to details, ability to think through complex processes, adapt changes quickly, and to challenge the status quoShifting the priorities and implementing changes under pressureAutomotive industry and experience supporting a sales organization is preferredData science experience is a bonusAgile Scrum project management experience and/or ability to operate in a fast-paced environment is a bonus
