Job Summary :We are seeking an Endocrinology trained physician to join our multispecialty group in pursuit of highquality patient care to provide full scope Endocrinology services.Responsibilities:* Review patient's history and perform physical examination. Maintain complete and accuratemedical records.* Conduct physical evaluation and diagnostic tests to determine diagnosis and provideappropriate treatment and patient care plan.* Diagnose and treat patients with a variety of hormonal diseases and conditions related to theendocrine systems.* Provide comprehensive cost-effective diabetes care with available support of CDE/RD services.* Recommend suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to, preventive healthrecommendations and habits.* Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.* Provide relationship-centered care, taking into account the patient's psychosocial and physicalneeds.* Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care.* Share on-call phone answering responsibilities with other Endocrinologists, at present on or aboutevery six weeks rotation basis.* Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.The Ideal Candidate:* One to three years of endocrinology clinical experience in an outpatient setting.* Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of endocrinology conditions with a focus on improvingpatient outcomes.* Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care andsafety are maintained.* Patient-centered approach toward a positive patient experience.* Excellent communication skills.* Interest in Population Health Management.Qualifications:* Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or foreign equivalent.* Completion of three year post graduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residencyprogram in Internal Medicine.* Completion of two year post graduate medical training from an accredited fellowship program inarea of practice (e.g., (Endocrine, Diabetes, and Metabolism Medicine).* Seeking both experienced and newly trained providers* Board Eligible/Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology* Must possess current, unrestricted New York State license.* Must possess Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.* Must possess Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.* BLS or ACLS certification required.* Must possess strong communication skills both oral and written.* Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office.Competitive Benefit Package :* Competitive Base Salary* Sign-on Bonus* Malpractice Insurance* Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement* Medical/Dental/Vision Health Insurance* 401K Retirement PlanAdditional Information
