RSM is growing and hiring an IT Support Specialist to support our North California region

Core Competencies:Exceptional oral and written communication skillsStrong technical knowledge and troubleshooting abilitiesCapable of multitasking and effectively prioritizing tasksKey Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across various systems, including computers, printers, VOIP phones, IP cameras, projectors, and other supported devicesUnderstand and apply knowledge of network architecture and building network systemsPossess a foundational understanding of AWS and VPN servicesManage and respond to technical support requests via email, ticketing systems, and phone callsOversee and maintain the company's VOIP phone systemTrack and resolve issues reported through the company's ticketing systemCollaborate with third-party vendors, including those for copy machines, VOIP systems, and internet servicesAdminister servers, including managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and server virtualizationPerform regular server backups and data restoration; handle installation, diagnostics, configuration, and repair of hardware and softwareMaintain and manage firewalls (Cisco, Sophos) and other network devicesProcure required hardware, software, and licenses for the companyTravel as needed to support IT needs at other company branches in different statesPreferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in progressively responsible IT rolesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailCapable of working independently and achieving results with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated and team-oriented with a strong desire to collaborate and contributeDemonstrated hands-on approach to problem-solving with a practical, results-driven attitudeStrong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creativelyFlexibility to work beyond regular business hours when needed
