Role Overview
The Workplace IT on-site team member addresses all incidents, tasks, and requests assigned to him/her promptly and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
Provides technical support for Infrastructure items and NXP devices within a defined scope. (i.e., data centers, telecommunication rooms, telephony, and PCs)Perform technical activities related to PC lifecycle (Image, configure, deliver, refresh, and retire)Help Personal Computer users troubleshoot problems and perform corrective actions for hardware and software.Collaborate with other IT team members when the problem is beyond his/her capabilities or scope of work.Provide a positive customer experience while addressing client issues, concerns, or questions.Collaborate on administrative activities on-site, such as running inventory, managing stock levels, ordering devices, and following disposal procedures.Management of local PC fleet/Inventory/CMDB.Technical skills
3+ years of experience in IT on-site support activities.Understanding of Microsoft 365 services for SharePoint, file sharing and collaboration.Windows PC ExperienceMAC ExperienceLinux Experience.Advanced knowledge of:Windows-based computers (Imaging, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing)Windows operating system and applicationsAuthentication servicesIT Management Systems (i.e., ServiceNow)General knowledge of:Datacenters and telecommunication infrastructureFixed telephony systemsNetwork Infrastructuremanagement of local PC fleet / inventory / CMDB
Soft skills
Good verbal communication skills to explain technical problems and solutions to non-technical people.Patience, Empathy, and Understanding of problems and concerns of non-technical clients.Positive vocabulary and kind avoidance of political, religious, or other socially controversial topicsFriendly, cordial, and professional attitudeNotes:

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.Company benefits include health. dental, and vision insurance. 401(k), and paid leave. Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:$82,900 to $114,000 annually
