We currently have a need for an Oracle Applications Support Specialist supporting a Global Network Infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have Oracle GoldenGate experience. Global Financial Services, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical and functional support for Oracle applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issuesManage and optimize Oracle GoldenGate implementations for real-time data replication and integrationMonitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of Oracle applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system updates and enhancementsDevelop and maintain documentation for Oracle applications and GoldenGate configurationsParticipate in on-call rotation for critical support issuesSkills required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field5+ years of experience supporting Oracle applications in an enterprise environmentProven experience with Oracle GoldenGate for data replication and integrationStrong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Database, and PL/SQLFamiliarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scriptingExperience with ITIL processes and best practicesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressureStrong communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Skills:
Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional)Experience with Oracle Cloud applicationsKnowledge of database performance tuning and optimizationFamiliarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware productsPhysical Demands:
Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing).Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.
