Job Description :
We are seeking a developer with expertise in SharePoint and data systems to support the modernization of our student information systems. The goal is to improve the availability of quality data that drives decisions and enhances student outcomes. This role involves developing web-based applications, dashboards, and reports to improve data access, accuracy, and ease of use for all stakeholders.
Responsibilities :•Design, maintain, and enhance SharePoint workflows to align with organizational business goals.•Develop web-based applications and dashboards to improve data access and accuracy.•Guide the progression of SharePoint to optimize workflows and meet project objectives.•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, production, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment on system improvements.•Create and maintain technical documentation to support system developments.•Lead migration efforts from on-premise SharePoint to SharePoint Online.
Required Skills:•Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent, or 5+ years of experience with SharePoint.•Advanced knowledge of business process analysis and functional specification.•Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016.•Proficiency with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.•In-depth knowledge of farm design, security permissions, and SharePoint best practices.•Experience migrating from on-premise SharePoint to SharePoint Online.•Familiarity with ADFS, Azure AD Connect, and modern authentication methods such as OAuth.•Strong written and verbal communication skills.•Experience writing technical documentation and working with SharePoint workflows•
