Job Summary:Operates a rough terrain lift truck in a safe and efficient manner while assisting Concrete Industries crews manufacture concrete products. Reliable attendance is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to, the following:

Abides by all OSHA, NEBCO and Concrete Industries safety and human resource policies, programs, and procedures, while performing duties safely.

Operates a lift truck in a safe and efficient manner through levers and pedals to drive the vehicle and control movement of lifting apparatus.

Positions forks, or other lifting device under, over, or around products, or materials and transports load to designated area.

Coordinates with crew leads and machine operators for their daily material needs.

Supplies materials to the production crews for use in manufacturing.

Removes waste material and waste product to maintain a clean plant.

Assists with maintenance and repairs of pertinent equipment.

Performs daily inspections and reports maintenance that may be required or performs minor repairs.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); andone year of related experience with forklift operation; oran equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Ability to obtain Forklift Certification within 3 months of employmentSkills and Abilities:

Must be able to frequently lift/move items up to 70 pounds.Ability to work flexible hours dependent on production and emergency requirements; including overtime when required, especially during the spring and summer months; and occasional weekends.Must have safety awareness and the ability to assure work is performed according to department safety standards.Must have excellent depth perception to load and onload materials without damaging the load.Good written and verbal communication skills.Benefits Include:
