The person is this role is r esponsible for ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services necessary for construction and manufacturing operations including strategy development, supplier management, and goods and services. This position oversees the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, optimizes costs, and ensures timely availability of materials and equipment to support project timelines and operational needs. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Reliable attendance is required.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to, the following:Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including equipment and division managers, to understand procurement needs and requirements.Conducts assessments of procurement needs based on usage patterns, maintenance schedules, and project forecasts.Develops and maintains procurement policies and guidelines to streamline processes and ensure transparency and accountability.Identifies and evaluates potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, and other relevant criteria.Prepares, distributes, and analyzes request for quotation documents detailing the specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines for required goods and services.Negotiates contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.Continuously monitors market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings opportunities.Addresses supplier issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions to operations.Ensures equipment, trucks and trailers, hauling contracts, fuel, equipment and truck consumables, welding supplies, PPE, and other goods and services required for company operations are available in a timely manner and maintained for supply continuity.Continuously evaluates and improves procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness.Other duties as assigned.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field; and5 years procurement experience in or related to the construction industry; oran equivalent combination of education and experience.Other Skills and Abilities:Substantial knowledge of construction materials, equipment, products, goods and services.Knowledge of market trends, supply chain management, and procurement best practices.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Benefits Include:Retirement PlansPAID HolidaysInsurance BenefitsWellness Program - with the opportunity to earn five additional days offPAID Time OffOn the Job TrainingCondition of EmploymentCandidate is required to meet the above qualifications, task frequency and PPE requirements.
