We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Accountant/Office Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a minimum of five years of experience. This role will provide the right individual with an opportunity to contribute their expertise to our financial operations while overseeing the daily administrative tasks of our office. Responsibilities:

As an Accountant/Office Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  1. Managing all accounting operations based on accounting principles.
  2. Preparing budget and financial forecasts.
  3. Conducting month-end and year-end close processes.
  4. Computing taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheets, profit/loss statements, etc.
  5. Develop periodic reports for management.
  6. Auditing financial transactions and document accounting control procedures.
  7. Keeping information confidential and secure them with random database backups.
  8. Keeping up with financial policies, regulation, and legislation.
  9. Managing office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  10. Ensuring the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  11. Managing schedules and deadlines.
  12. Monitoring inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new materials with attention to budgetary constraints.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as an Accountant/Office Manager or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
  3. Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.)
  4. Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
  5. Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. SAP).
  6. Well-organized with excellent time management skills.
  7. Outstanding mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail.
  10. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
