Shift

Day 4x9.5-Hour (07:00 - 16:30)

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

General Summary/Responsibilities

As a Nuclear Medicine Technician, you will independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. Your responsibilities include:

  • Working under your scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
  • Coordinating patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department, including radiation protection practices.
  • Exercising professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition.
  • Possibly performing procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
  • Having on-call responsibilities as needed.
Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree

  • Area of study or major: Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Preferred educational qualifications: N/A
  • Position specific testing requirement: N/A
Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • CPR Certification required
  • Nuclear Medicine registry required
  • ODH licensure required
  • ARRT RT ( R ) registry required and/or NMTCB
Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience

Preferred experience: One year of experience in the specialized field of Nuclear Medicine
