Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and maintain optimum performance.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues promptly, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Utilize knowledge of extrusion and blow molding in the processing and production of plastic products.
- Collaborate with the engineering team in machine design to optimize production processes.
- Implement 5S and Kaizen methodologies to improve workplace organization, efficiency, and safety.
- Monitor and control the quality of raw materials used in production.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with extrusion, blow molding, and machine design.
- Strong knowledge of plastics and plastics manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting machinery.
- Familiarity with 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
