Data/Business Analyst (Remote)

In this role, you will join one of the largest logistics and transportation employers in the US as a Business/ Data Analyst (this role is a combination of Data/Business/ Financial Analyst skills). You will collaborate with leadership to enhance and modernize analytics and visualization dashboards, translating current solutions to new verticals and stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to initiate financial analytics for a previously unsupported vertical. This involves adapting PowerBI dashboards to new stakeholders by understanding their business management and translating it into core dimensions. You will align stakeholder needs with the current analytics strategy and engage with senior leadership, gathering requirements from Senior Directors of Finance and Operations. Acting as a bridge between how stakeholders view their business and how our data is structured, you will need to learn quickly and adapt to new concepts, especially if you lack logistics experience. Required Skills & Experience3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Financial Analyst in a fast-paced enterprise environment. 3+ years of experience building PowerBI dashboards from scratch, including data extraction. Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including creating views and stored procedures using temp tables. Proven ability to work with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of financial concepts, such as profitability and margin, with the ability to explain these concepts. Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with senior leadership. Highly coachable with the ability to quickly learn new industries and their nuances. Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceFinance background or experience in Finance Analytics. Experience in Logistics.
