Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description:Primarily responsible for inspecting internally and externally supplied products, performing Quality System Audits, maintaining measurement tools and equipment, creating and maintaining Quality System documentation, and supporting other departments to help determine root cause of defective products through qualitative measurement analysis.Perform Qualifying Inspections of internally and externally manufactured/modified products to ensure that they meet defined design requirements and meet or exceed customer expected quality levels.Perform In-Process performance and ISO surveillance audits to ensure the documented procedures are followed.Maintain all required documentation in support of departmental functions.Perform Measurement Data Analysis and provide support to root cause analysis functions.Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing/quality environment as a Quality Inspector, Auditor, Technician, Machinist, or manufacturing support technicianKnowledge of ISO 9001 Quality System Standards, Corrective Action, PPAP, and Discrepant Material managementKnowledge and Experience in metrology, calibration, and SPC Analysis and the ability to properly use measurement tools.Working Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Working Knowledge (Create & Edit) of MS Office Documents (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)Working Knowledge creating and editing CMM inspection programs.Experience utilizing and implementing continuous improvement methodologies and techniques (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen).
