Inspection background assembler can be skilled if they can read blueprint is seeking a Quality Control Inspector based in Orlando, FL.The objective of this position is to support the IFE Quality Control teams in performing duties related to material Receiving, Receiving Inspection, and Final Shipping Inspection. Additionally, this position requires the ability to acquire delegated Manufacturer conformity inspection role. The fundamental function of this role is to perform tasks that aide the processes established to assure compliance and conformance to requirements.Perform visual / mechanical inspection of materials in accordance with the design drawings and process them in accordance with procedures.Inspect LRUs, parts, components, cable, harnesses, sheet metal, assemblies, subassemblies, plastic parts, mechanical, electromechanical parts, raw materials and shelf life items. Document rejections and comply with disposition requirements.Review documentation from shipping companies, Suppliers, Customers.C of Cs, First Article Inspection Reports, material certifications, Test Reports, packing lists, etc.Comply with the Quality Management System process documents and forms as well as Comply with management directions.Complete tasks and Objectives in a timely manner.Access and navigate various databases used for various purposes.MRP (SAP), Configuration Control (TeamCenter), *** NetworkCommunicate clearly and concisely to various personnel verbally or via the use of tools.Creating reports, emails, virtual communication tools, etc.Conduct trainings and provide guidance when required.Support Continual Improvement activities.Act as an authorized delegate for the Manufacturer when requested.Comply with delegation activities and requirements. Maintain the delegation.Fully understand the requirements of the standard AS9102 (Aero Space standard for First Article Inspection)Create and/or review and approve FAIRs.Skills:

High School diploma minimumtechnical school certificate a plusA minimum of 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment within Quality Control.Has a solid understanding in processes such as ensuring conformance to design, control of nonconforming material, process controls, and continual improvement.Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) with cross-functional teams and upper management.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Understand how to read design drawings (size tolerance or geometric tolerance)Knowledge and ability to use inspection tools (calipers, ruler, micrometer, radius gage, pin gage, etc)Ambitious and AccountableDemonstrates attention to detailsLift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs throughout the dayUse a variety of Quality Control hand inspection toolsPerform repetitive motion with wrists, hands and fingersAccurately complete visual inspections of materialsKnowledge of how to perform "pedigree" conformity inspections.Understands AS9102 (Aero Space First Article Inspection requirements).Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.Experience in working with SAP.#TB_EN
