Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Performs visual inspection of parts / material for cosmetic non-conformances including but not limited to porosity, flaws in applied coatings such as paint, chemical film coating, plating and anodic coatings.Also inspecting parts / material for damaged material, nicks, dings, with raised material, burrs, and assemble processes.Capability to use all standard measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, go / no-go plug and thread gages
Ability to use instruments such as optical comparator, height gage and transfer stand with dial indicator.Requirements:Understanding of GD&TUnderstanding of defense related precision machined partsUnderstanding of AS9102 environmentBasic blueprint reading skillsAble to work independently
Goals & Objectives:Effectively work under changing conditions on priorities and activities in the quality departmentProvide quality reports for inspection of Aerospace and Defense productUnderstand inspection in a manufacturing setting.
