Description: Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient s needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.-Initiates assessment based on the patient s problems or needs, the physician s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. RN will not be floated as an RN assignment but more as a PCT role, where they will be taking vitals and assisting the nursing staf f Schedule Notes:6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Every Other Weekend Required. C-EFM (Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring)- RequiredMust have experience Circulating with C-sections. Scrub experience- Preferred. RN will not be floated as an RN assignment but more as a PCT role, where they will be taking vitals and assisting the nursing staff Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-1+ year of experience in related specialty.Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/A Experience with the following preferred:IV insertions, IV pumps, blood draws, labor bed experience, warmers, PCA and Epidural pumps, SCD machines, Pulse OX and O2 Setup. Patient Ratio: 1:2- Max ratio 1:3. 130-160 births per month. 40-60 C-Sections per month. RequiredC-EFM (Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring)- RequiredMin 2 years of recent L&D experience Required.AdditionalEducation: Required Education:-ASN.Preferred Education:-BSN Preferred.Required Certifications & Licensure:-BLS must be AHA.Preferred Certifications & Licensure:-N/A;Languages: English Read Write Speak English(Speak, Read, Write)Job Category: Clinical
