Sanitation LeadPANERA FRESH DOUGH FACILITY SANITATION LEADUnder the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Lead provides direction and training to Sanitation Associates performing daily cleaning, washing, and sanitizing of equipment within the production area.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversees timely and effective dismantling, cleaning, sanitizing, and setting up of equipment.Coordinates and verifies cleaning responsibilities for sanitation associates.Assists management with sanitation self-audits and corrective actions.Performs pre-op inspections on all equipment, verifies cleaning effectiveness, sign-off, and releases back to Production.Assists with the completion and documentation of the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).Makes recommendations to management regarding the Sanitation Department's efficiency and/or effectiveness.Notifies management of personnel issues as they arise.Trains sanitation associates on SSOPs, correct chemical usage, and safety.Understanding of all cleaning solutions concentrations to specified standards and SDS. Monitors inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies.Knowledge of all sanitation equipment and the ability to sanitize equipment as needed.Understand, uphold, and enforce sanitation processes, GMPs, Panera Standards, and Safety Standards including wearing the necessary protective equipment (PPE). Any other duties as assigned.Qualifications (Education & Experience)High school diploma or equivalent.Two to four years of experience in GMPS, sanitation, food safety, and allergen requirements in a food manufacturing environment.Pass the AIB Food Safety Essentials and Food Processing Sanitation/Hygiene correspondence online courses within 6 months of hire.Perform hands-on, physical tasks, and show the ability to work at a steady and quick pace.
