Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Supervisor Operations for our Bridgeton, MO facility. This role will be responsible for supervising a segment of the operations team, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality goals are realized for an assigned area/product line/work cell. The operations team fabricates and tests anything from simple to complex electronics assemblies and cables. In addition, the supervisor is responsible for systems integration and test of electronics platforms.Job Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day activities of an assigned manufacturing areaEnsure product/service quality through proper utilization of resources and adherence to applicable standardsCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws and regulationsLead activities to resolve issues and problems, identifying root cause and effecting appropriate corrective actionMonitor and enable internal and external customer satisfactionDrive continuous improvement through deployment of best practices, such as Lean Six SigmaMaintain and continuously improve areas, which impact on Team Member safetyHire, manage career development, and assess performance of assigned team membersSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organizationAttend applicable internal or external customer meetingsParticipate on special project teamsSupport new product introduction activitiesQualifications

Associate’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of relevant experienceDemonstrated leadership skills and abilitiesProficient technical expertise with demonstrated applicationExperience with Industrial Engineering concepts and 5S/6S techniquesKnowledge and familiarity with standards (ISO, AS, etc)Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skillsAbility to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance is requiredU.S. Citizenship required.
