Principal Product Manager/Strategy

Lead product management activities as the driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

Career Level - IC4

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

What you'll do:

Work with strategic customers to understand their requirements, influence our product roadmap, evangelize our solutions, and determine how to accelerate cloud consumption.

Directly influence how our global government customers use OCI.

Provide your expertise and guidance throughout the deal cycle (pre-RFP to solution delivery and steady-state).

Collaborate with enterprise architects to understand business drivers and assess application portfolios ensuring that cloud solutions are highly scalable, flexible and resilient.

Act as the voice of customers to Oracle’s various cloud engineering teams.

Be our product evangelist - engage directly with customers and partners, participate and present in external events and conferences.

What you'll bring:

Demonstrable experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements for customer-facing online products/services.

10+ years of relevant professional experience in product management.

Experience with cloud platform technologies and understanding of how to apply them to real world problems is required.

Experience as a product manager, or in a technical leadership role, with a cloud platform technology provider is strongly preferred.

Excellent knowledge of cloud platform technologies and how to apply them to real world problems.

Understanding of public sector customers.

Experience responding to complex government proposals.

Strong appreciation of the cloud competitive landscape; customer priorities and challenges.

Strong technical competence, communication, and interpersonal skills.

U.S. Citizenship required.
