Nature of Work:
The position is in a quarry environment, and the applicant must possess the ability to work in all types of weather conditions. Management activities may include but are not limited to the following: production operations, parts and components management, purchasing, contract management, capital project management, budgeting, customer service, and quality assurance.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily quarry, asphalt, and crushing operations.
Direct plant operations encompassing production, maintenance, quality, and logistics to ensure objectives are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
Must have excellent understanding of crushing operations and maintenance.
Coordinate blasting schedule and safety procedures.
Identify plant problem areas and recommend solutions.
Ordering and keeping inventory of all parts.
Ensure compliance with all Local, State, and Federal regulations and permits.
Work with sales team to set and execute the production schedule to meet commercial demands.
Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high levels of quality.
Working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possess a strong personal commitment to safety.
Solid understanding of aggregate processing and equipment.
Maintain Company safety goal of ZERO ACCIDENTS.
Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge, while performing hands-on troubleshooting techniques.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Computer skills are required.
Maintain a valid driver’s license.
