This position will be an addition to our sales team. We seek a competitive professional to execute our sales and marketing strategies to attract new brokers and insurance customers. This person will source brokers, open relationships, close sales and achieve sales targets. This role is deeply impactful in the growth of the Company and critical in helping us scale our programs and build our national brand.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and determined professional to play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable with face-to-face meetings with brokers (and clients in some instances), moderate travel, sourcing and qualifying prospective broker partners and soliciting insurance submissions. This is a great fit for an experienced sales professional who brings a network of brokers to our Company and can be productive from day one.This role reports directly to the President & CEO of Tangram.Responsibilities

Drive submissions through various methods such as door to door, calling, e-campaigns using our current network and building your list of contactsHit quarterly sales goals, including business development activity metricsSource and identify potential new brokers, profile and appoint with the objective of increasing business in the territoryIncrease penetration with existing brokers and generate submissionsUp sell products and programs to our broker databaseLearn to articulate our program features and services and deliver quotes in some instancesRepresent the Company at conferences, broker meetings, association presentations, trade shows, etc.Gain deep understanding territory opportunities and challenges, inform the underwriting team and develop strategies to successfully sell programsAccountable for driving individual results while also supporting the overall sales teamDocument and track all sales activities in our CRM systemUnderstand broker needs and requirementsRoute qualified opportunities to appropriate team member when necessaryResearch potential broker partners, identify key contacts/decision makers, initiate calls, and generate interestMaintain and expand our database of prospects within your assigned territoryAttend periodic sales training and be open and responsive to sales coachingCommunicate our brand identity and represent us through professionalism and Tangram core valuesAbility to travel as necessary to complete the responsibilities outlined above in the territorySkills and Experience

5+ years of proven field sales experienceBuilt network of retail agencies in the East regionCollege degree or acceptable combination of education and experienceTrack record of over-achieving quotasStrong presence and highly articulate on the phone and in personExperience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRMExcellent written communication skillsAbility to stay organized, prioritize and manage time effectivelyPersonal initiative to work independently, take risks, fail fast and make progressSolid internet, Excel and Word skillsCompensation

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000. The offer will depend on the geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
