The Role

Here at Marigold, we’re working to grow our Enterprise Business Development Team. If you’re a motivated, forward-thinking individual with your eyes on professional growth, this is the role for you.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Business Development Representative, you’ll be a driving force behind Marigold's overall growth as you partner with sales to create pipeline and opportunity. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech company where career growth opportunities exist for those that are hungry and motivated.

In This Role You Will

Facilitate conversations with prospects who have shown an interest in our marketing solutions.Prospect, set meetings, and generate qualified pipeline for account executives.Effectively collaborate across departments and direct current customers to the proper channels and resources.Perform consultative calls with prospects to understand pain points, aspirations, and insights around decision making, determine the best solution from Marigold’s product offering, and connect them with the product that best aligns with their relationship marketing, personalization, and loyalty needs and requirements.Effectively communicate how Marigold is positioned in the market, and communicate core features, functionality, and benefits.Assist in the consultative sales process by scheduling meetings, typically a demo call, with an account executive.Utilize Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales tools to manage your pipeline and maintain accurate information about prospects and leads.

What We're Looking For

Experience developing opportunities within an Enterprise SaaS company.Excellent written, verbal communication, and listening skills.Interest in building a career in Enterprise SaaS sales.Proven track record of owning your pipeline goals and consistently surpassing them.Self-motivation and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced sales environment with minimal supervision.Time management skills; ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with strong attention to detail.Coachable and open to feedback.Adaptable and open to change.Familiarity with tools like Salesforce.Strong understanding of marketing software and technology.Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
