Supervisory, administrative and technical work overseeing the Fleet Operations Sections of the Support Services Division of the Sewerage and Water Board. Work includes managing the Board's Fleet Maintenance activities, including repairs and maintenance of automotive and heavy equipment and ensuring services are executed promptly and accurately. Work also includes supervising and evaluating the work of assigned supervisors and staff; developing, implementing and monitoring work plans to achieve the division's mission. Work also includes budget preparation, developing, recommending and implementing policies, systems and procedures applicable to Fleet Maintenance responsibilities; and related work as required.High School Diploma issued by a State Department of Education.Ten years of experience in coordinating the operations of a large fleet maintenance facility; including two years of experience supervising personnel.A Valid Drivers License.NOTE:

Domicile requirements are currently waived for the purpose of application. Residency requirements are waived for all Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans positions vacant and advertised for at least 90 days. Employees hired under this waiver remain exempt from the city's residency requirement for the duration of their employment at the Sewerage and Water Board. (La R.S. 33:4076).
