Polyurethanes Supply Chain Director of the Americas.Job ScopeThe
SOPM
will be a liaison between our business partners, customers, and employees in communicating pertinent information accurately and expeditiously to operate the department/business efficiently and effectively. The incumbent will also develop employee relations, building trust and earning respect by recognizing employee talents/contributions and demonstrating an attitude of impartiality and consideration.The incumbent must maintain effective and timely communications between cross-functional roles within Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Technical, Production, Shared Services, Quality Assurance, and Product Development.As the Sales & Operations Planning Manager you will be accountable for:Leading, inspiring, and building the capabilities of the S&OP team membersWeekly sales and inventory reporting for manufacturing and distribution sitesMonthly regional and global Sales & Operations facilitation and reportingMonitoring progress and driving appropriate accountability for completion of all on-going projectsMonthly Performance ReportingISO ComplianceMonthly Closing ActivitiesNew Product Introduction ApprovalEmployee Performance AssessmentsBudget Performance - $1.2mm budgetManaging the relationship between Rubicon’s joint business partners Huntsman and Lanxess.Supporting the Commercial organization600+ Customer Ship To accounts24,000+ orders/shipments annually30 Distribution sites and associated inventory17 Product streams with 600+ active product codes2.5 billion pounds finished product shipments annuallyRequired Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or other relevant technical field5-10 years experience in supply chain planningExcellent leadership and communication skillsExperience with SAPSignificant understanding of sales and operations planning processesBe highly adaptable, positive, and flexibleBe highly detail orientedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Master’s in Business Administration or Supply ChainExperience in coaching and capability developmentWorking knowledge of Huntsman Polyurethanes’ manufacturing assets/strategiesKnow how to manage up in the organizationHuntsman offers unsurpassed opportunities to build a successful future.
