Project Manager I or II - Transportation

This professional position will plan and manage public works capital transportation projects and help administer County programs and policies for the Traffic and Permit Section of the Department of Engineering and Construction Management. The position will assist with the initial planning and budgeting phases, and continue through the design phase, bidding process, construction phase, and post-construction period for a wide variety of capital projects related to transportation infrastructure within Frederick County-maintained public rights-of-way. The position will also assist with the administration of a variety of County programs and policies related to traffic mitigation, traffic control devices, traffic data collection and analysis, right-of-way permit administration, report generation, and constituent services. Supervision is received from the Engineering Supervisor of the Traffic and Permitting Section.
NOTE : Above base salary is not guaranteed and is contingent upon the review of the chosen candidate's education background, work experience background and relevant certification by the hiring department's Division Director and Human Resources Division Director.
