We're committed to your success with exceptional customer service and product performance.Summary:Responsible for establishing Quality Assurance measures to include quality control functions to meet internal and external requirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Establish quality controls, OEE metrics, monitoring, feedback, and improvement practices in all manufacturing and distribution facilities.Work closely with all levels -- from plant management and machine operators -- to identify, assess, and resolve issues with raw materials; production and assembly processes; finished goods; and distribution processes.Work closely with Engineering to establish acceptance criteria for raw materials and finished goods.Experienced in ISO standards (9001 is a must and 14001 is preferred), customer focus and satisfaction centric. Assure compliance to practices and lead annual ISO certification renewal process.Train team members on quality-related metrics, processes, and standards as well as certify auditorsPromote a "quality culture" in word and deed at all timesQualifications:10+ years’ experience in quality functions in manufacturing environmentsCertified lead auditor through a reputable organizationDirect exposure to injection molding production is a plusManufacturing or technical degree is a plusStrong background in Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and ISOMetrics-driven; highly-skilled in statistical analysisMost importantly, candidate must have the experience and confidence to actively engage team in process enhancements and corrective actions – operating more on the plant floor than in their officeLeads, guides, and collaborates well with all levels from the plant floor to executives while making things happenExcellent analytical and written/verbal communication skillsGreat attention to detail, follow-up, and follow-throughThe ability to educate, inform, and persuade othersMust have MS Office expertise (MS Excel, PowerBi, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Physical Demands and Work Environment:Continually required to talk or hearWhile performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to adapt to environmental changes and working conditions, such as temperature and noiseFrequently required to stand and walkMyers Industries, Inc. is an equal opportunity at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation or national origin.#J-18808-Ljbffr
