We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join the Baker Electric team! As a crucial part of our operations, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling warehouse requests, maintaining yard cleanliness, and overall warehouse organization. Your role is instrumental in ensuring the warehouse successfully supports the field projects in our San Diego region, both timely and accurately.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for receiving trucks and unloading tools, equipment, and trash.Responsible for proper storage and inventory accuracy of material and supplies stored at the warehouse.Stock warehouse with tools and materials in proper locations.Fulfill warehouse requests from the field foreman and stage them in the proper location.Support the Shipping and Receiving team by checking merchandise and applying request labels as requested.Inspect all orders for damage and missing items.Forward all incoming material delivery paperwork to the Assistant Warehouse Supervisor for processing.Maintain secured, clean, and organized storage areas in the warehouse at all times.Provide backup driving/delivery support as requested.EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:2+ years of warehouse operations experience (picking/packing/staging/inventory).Construction experience is a plus.High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent experience.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Reliable and predictable attendance is required.Forklift experience preferred.At Baker, we are proud to be an employee-owned company. The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
