Project Manager of Substations

to oversee and coordinate the construction and management of substations in the PV Gonerby (Lincolnshire) and PV Winkburn (Nottinghamshire) projects. Project Planning and Management:

Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scopes, timelines, and budgets for substation projects at PV Gonerby and PV Winkburn. Ensure that project objectives align with company goals and stakeholder expectations.Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the substation projects. Facilitate communication and collaboration among clients, contractors, and team members to promote transparency and accountability.Team Leadership:

Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and contractors. Foster a collaborative environment and provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members throughout the project lifecycle.Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary.Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all construction and management activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor adherence to quality controls and safety measures.Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

Track project progress against established milestones and deliverables. Prepare and present status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting any issues or deviations from the project plan.Budget Management:

Oversee project budgets, controlling costs and maximizing resources to achieve financial objectives. Conduct financial analysis and reporting to ensure financial accountability and deliver value to the company.Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all substation projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety requirements. Stay informed about regulatory changes and integrate them into project planning and execution.Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the construction and management of substation projects within the energy sector. Proven experience with renewable energy projects is an advantage.Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, substation design, construction practices, and safety regulations. Proficient in project management software and tools.Leadership Skills:

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and resolve conflicts effectively.Analytical Skills:
