The PID Division develops AI-based solutions that are built on a foundation of learning and cognitive science principles that leverage interactive task design, machine learning, and data sciences. Solutions will be integrated into various teaching, learning, and assessment solutions. The AI Engineer's role is to build, train, and deploy multimodal AI models that power innovative features for the AI-based prototypes.Position Summary:

This position is for staffing the Multimodal AI (MMAI) team, where we are specifically looking for individuals who have exposure, experience, or even expertise in the following:Responsibilities:

Develop Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning (ML) models to achieve business objectivesTime-series, predictive modeling based on multimodal information (i.e., video, text, speech, and other modalities) for non-cognitive, behavioral performance tasksNon-cognitive, behavioral performance-based tasks modelingBias-mitigated modeling where models trained do not encode biases from human annotatorsImplement effective methods of AI/ML model testing during development, deployment, and recalibrationUtilize best practices around design, coding, automated unit, regression testing, and deployment of AI/ML models to production; and responsible use of AIKeeping current with the latest AI / NLP / Speech / Video researchWork effectively in the agile-at-scale frameworkClearly communicate findings to business stakeholdersRequired Experience:

Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:

Masters Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related fieldRelevant Years of Experience:

At least three years of training or experience in AI/ML algorithm developmentExperience in technology-enhanced learning solution research and developmentOther Requirements:
