This Project Management Assistant position provides support to Project Managers who oversee projects within the Electrical Transmission industry. On site 3-5 days a week.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare project bid packagesRespond to bidder RFI’sInterface with bidder/ contractor personnelAttend job kickoff and walk down meetingsAssist in the development of project schedules using established software systemsGather, organize and validate data for project financial forecastsInput data into various programs and maintain various cost and forecasting reportsAssist in the development of cash flow/ forecast plans/ budgets using established software systemsAssess and report on project performance using established industry standardsDocument and provide regular communication on project cost, schedule and risk status to project team members, stakeholders and publicParticipate in project status meetingsCoordinate the execution of internal and field checklistsAssist with other project management support tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
High level of interpersonal skillsHigh level of organization skillsHigh attention to detailAble to efficiently multitaskProficient in MS Suite of softwareValid driver’s licenseExperience in the Construction IndustryBachelor’s degree in engineering, project management or construction management from an accredited college or its equivalent in education and experience
