Grand Design is currently sourcing for a
Technical Publications Specialist .
As a Technical Publications Specialist, you will create and/or update our Owner's Manuals and other Technical Publications to accurately reflect the product build.Key Areas of Responsibility:Create/Update/Edit Adobe InDesign files for GDRV Owner's Manuals.Create/Update/Edit Adobe InDesign files for supplemental instruction documents.Present complex information in clear, logical, and concise written English for best reader comprehension.Ensure the accuracy of product and component information through research and collaboration with subject matter experts.Applied knowledge of layout, design, typography, and preparing art for press.Education & Experience:Must be highly proficient in Adobe CC, InDesign. (Acrobat, Photoshop, and Illustrator are a plus).Minimum 3 years experience in Layout Design position or related work.Special consideration given to candidates fluent in written French-Canadian.Associate or Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication including strong grammatical skills.Highly organized and detail oriented.Strong mechanical aptitude and/or RV experience is a plus.Ability to efficiently prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to work both independently and with team members.Our Core Values:Gratitude
