SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for equipping, motivating, and supporting Site Managers and other members of the Production Team for exceptional customer service and workmanship. This role involves ensuring the consistency, profitability, and success of all projects assigned to the team. The Project Manager analyzes and assesses all aspects of production to make timely, informed decisions and goals, while spreading the company vision, culture, and attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Creates and executes a schedule of planned visits to project sites, contacts homeowners with approved contracts, schedules visits, and communicates with customers on schedule changes.Meets with homeowners to develop project specifications, confirms measurements and materials, identifies issues, and clarifies any identified issues with the homeowner.Determines pre-project gross margin and updates DataForma with pre-project labor and material estimates.Orders materials and places orders for all materials with chosen suppliers.Updates systems to ensure all details, events, statuses, and notes are current.Determines and updates Project Schedule Score based on experience and current factors.Updates Pre-Job Margins and Budget when applicable.Ensures the timely start of projects and project phases, ensuring all materials and equipment are on site.Monitors the progress of all projects and communicates with project scheduling team and work crew leaders.Ensures the proper completion of projects and secures a signed Certificate of Completion.Responsible for securing the final payment and ensuring customer satisfaction.Closes the project and reconciles pre-project and post-project margins.

Requirements:A high school degree, with additional training or coursework in construction skills, estimating, or customer service being a plus.5+ years of experience in home building, remodeling, or renovation as a skilled tradesman or project manager.A demonstrated ability to understand and work with contracts for construction services.A demonstrated understanding of home insurance and claims processing.Strong 4-function math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Demonstrated computer skills using a service-oriented CRM system.Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm and clear with challenging customers.

Physical demands:The ability to walk around an office, warehouse, or neighborhood, climb and descend stairs, work in a seated position at a desk for hours, stand at a trade/home show, drive to and from offsite meetings, operate computers and phones, open/close file cabinets, bend/stand as necessary, set up and use an extension ladder, and lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
