Our exclusive building methodologies, accredited safety standards and professional execution allow us to turn our customers' greatest concepts into reality.Position and Responsibilities OverviewService HVAC/Plumbing Experience.Review project documents.Identify scope of work.Material, labor, and equipment takeoffs.Walk difficult projects.Identify and document difficult/ non-standard conditions.Coordinate with Preconstruction Team to identify and fill scope gaps.Clarify scope with General Contractor and Engineer.Obtain quotes and coordinate/qualify scope with vendors and subcontractors.Completely assemble the Bid Tab in a timely manner.Provide value engineering ideas.Verify estimate accuracy by comparing data versus similar bids.File electronic documents.Participate in turnover process to Operations.Liaison between Estimating and Field Operations.Follow up on past awards.QualificationsIndirect supervision.Fully competent in all conventional aspects of subject matter or functional area.Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation/modification of standards.Devises new solutions to problems encountered.Independently performs most assignments with instruction.Receives guidance for unusual or complex problems and supervisor approval for changes in standards.5+ years of relevant experience.Knowledge of Microsoft Office.College/university graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.Company BenefitsComprehensive medical plans with HSA and FSA options for you and your family.Generous 401(k) plan with immediate company match - 100% vested.Dental and vision insurance for your well-being.Short-term and long-term disability plans available after one year.Company provided life insurance and AD&D with options for supplemental buy-ups.Enjoy paid time off and holidays.Get paid weekly for your convenience.Minimum Physical RequirementsWork outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.Work in all types of weather.Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Why RK is a Great Place to WorkAt RK, we take immense pride in our diverse business units, each specializing in delivering exceptional projects, products and services to our customers.
