Location: Woodland, CAA $5,000 signing bonus is being offered to the successful candidate.This position will support the implementation and oversight of environmental, safety and health programs and policies at both the Woodland facility and at the Stockton facility. The expectation being work would be divided between both sites based on need and priority. Experience in industrial safety, training, field/site safety auditing, safety/IH project management, and hazard identification and control is required.Key Accountabilities

Communicate, administer, and maintain existing safety & industrial hygiene programs, policies, and proceduresContinuously improve and expand upon existing programs by soliciting feedback from all customersDevelop and deliver safety and environmental related reports, training, and presentationsConsult with the corporate EH&S Professionals to ensure consistency with company expectationsConduct, monitor and follow up on site safety and environmental assessmentsWork with project site management to ensure compliance with regulations and consistency with company expectationsDevelop, implement, and continuously improve industry specific safety and environmental programsProvide leadership and direction in proactive safety related activitiesPerform all other related duties as assignedMinimum Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field (Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Industrial Hygiene, etc.)At least five years of practical experience in the field of safety for heavy industrial or power plant operations (schoolwork, internships, and co-ops are not to be included in the experience calculation)Other Qualifications

Preferred:CSP or CIH certificationMaster's degreeOther Requirements:Organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasksProven ability to work effectively in a team environmentWorking proficiency of Microsoft Office products. Expert knowledge of occupational safety and industrial hygiene regulationsExtensive knowledge of electrical regulations and standards is preferredExperience with safety management systems (OHSAS18001, ANSI Z10) is preferredAbility to function within a matrix organization in which functional and business leaders have equal authority within the organization and employees report to both a functional leader and a business leaderExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to pass a background check to allow authorized access to restricted information and areas as required by federal and/or state regulationsAbility to obtain a passport and ability to travel internationally, as necessaryAbility to develop and maintain productive relationships with both a functional ("solid line") and business leader ("dotted line"), who collaborate on employee issues and decisions, including performance management, compensation, and developmentPhysical Demands & Working Conditions

In the course of working at the project site, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including cold/hot, wet and/or humid conditions, and may work near moving mechanical parts and/or machinery.
