Your Role:
Provide MDS commercial administrative support for global business partners and to manage MDS spend. Inventory management using FITS (Financial Information Tracking System), MDS invoice processing, contract review and vendor relationship management.You Will Be Responsible For
Maintain process documentation for workflows relating to the invoice and MDS pricing update processesProcess vendor invoices verified against contractual obligations to verify accurate billing and allocations within Market Data Services inventory system (i.e.: FITS: Optimize Spend)Deal with vendors on billing queries to resolve invoice variances and update MDS inventory systemProvide a full range of MDS administrative support whilst maintaining all aspects of the market data inventory system to manage over $120m MDS spend globallyWork alongside the MDS senior team to assist with MDS vendor management of existing services and procurement of new services and contractsAssist with new service requests and task flow application - Service NowAssist with the flow of new contracts through internal Legal teams and ensure use policies and procedures are followed globallyCoordination with Technology Product and Support managers as appropriate with setting up and onboarding new services and dataAssist with annual business budget planning and analysisAssist with managing MDS vendors on existing services and procurement of new service contractsAssist internal business partners with data requests and access through MDS platformsThe Experience You Bring
Experience of working within the Investment Services industry in an MDS Admin Analyst roleExperience of vendor invoicing and MDS business principlesExperience of managing an MDS inventory system from one of the key providers. Ideally someone with Optimize Spend knowledgeExperience with working with MDS vendors and products including those from the key vendors - Bloomberg, Factset, Refinitiv, Exchanges, Rating Agencies and Index Data providersExperience and understanding of vendor contract languageGood knowledge and confidence with using ExcelUnderstanding of the business drivers within an investment services companyUnderstanding of Broker Soft $ procedures and methodology advantageousMust be educated to degree level or of graduate caliber and able to demonstrate literacy and numeracyFull Time / Part Time
