Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division.HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a multi-functional Logistician with a strong background in procurement, budget, and transportation to serve as a Logistics Manager in support of Personnel Recovery / Casualty Evacuation (PR/CASEVAC) services for the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM). The Logistics Manager conducts various logistics functions, ranging from facility management to material inventories, acquisition, micro-purchasing, and property accountability. Develops requirements for and manages Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) and assists with goods and services invoice reconciliation. The Logistics Manager directs, manages, and coordinates the program's logistics activities while on-site and supports the Operations Integrator (OI) and Program Management initiatives by providing insight and guidance on how to support ongoing and future operations best.What You Will Do

Maintain asset visibility and property accounting records in an automated management and accounting system.Prepare purchase request documents and conduct micro-purchases to support existing and forecasted requirements, as directed.Perform monthly purchase card account recons and submit packets for approval.Assist OI’s with identifying and resourcing equipment, material, and services utilizing both non-standard-commercial items as well as military inventory items.Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all logistics and property management, control, and inventory requirements.Provide in-depth analysis of transportation costs, material procurement, backorders, and delivery procedures.Conduct market research in support of purchasing and requisitioning non-standard, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) material.Prepare documentation for international shipping adhering to internal import/export procedures including ITAR items.Prepare and schedule equipment and material transportation and shipping requests.Conduct and prepare reports on property inventories and accountability.Conduct monthly sensitive items inventories and maintain digital records.Develop and maintain models for logistics uses, such as cost estimating or demand forecasting.Write or revise standard operating procedures for logistics processes.Identify, solve, and standardize innovative solutions to complex logistical and operational challenges.Prepare equipment and material transportation plans; plans and executes movement orders, itineraries, load plans, staging, and safeguard areas.Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements.Build relationships with strategic partners through logistics initiatives.Minimum Qualifications

10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.Must meet and maintain the ability to obtain a permit to carry a firearm.Must initially qualify and annually thereafter on both pistol and rifle.Must meet and maintain the ability to obtain medical and dental readiness requirements.Prior logistics experience supporting the government or DoD customer.Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Preferred Requirements

Purchasing and requisitioning non-standard, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) material.Transportation, International Shipping, and Import/Export Procedures.Physical Requirements

This position will require working in a deployed location, outdoors, and in an office. Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
