Validates questions regarding their work by reviewing procedures (self-guided work-checks) and ensures adherence to work instructions.Able to suggest updates to procedures and write draft updates for their suggestions.Seeks out additional responsibility to grow and develop their breadth of skills and knowledge base.Consistently perform reliable transactions with little to no error.Use analytical skills and critical thinking to confirm/validate/correct MRP Action Messages.Consistently display intimate tactical knowledge of the program status and road bumps in near, mid-term, and long-term horizon (30-60-90 Day outlooks for Production and 6 month+ for Supply Chain issues in Material Planning).Common understanding of projects and abbreviations, project planning groups, and netting groups.Proactively shares information and requirements.Drive consistent communications between planning, project accounting, and project management.Manage overall workload and align resources as needed to maintain balance.Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experience in Planning (Either Production or Material).Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD clearance, which requires US Citizenship.Proficiency and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Material Management, Manufacturing processes, and Supply Chain.Ability to initiate and continually develop and enhance communication, developing relationships with Supply Chain organization by supporting their needs and working together to solve problems.Ability to appropriately escalate situations (not too early or too late).Familiarity with the different roles in the IPT and Operations support functions and understanding the value that each function brings.Ability to learn program knowledge and understand customer needs and priorities.Ability to understand how rework WOs/POs/Supply affect Supply/Demand on workbench.Ability to read drawings and understand what they call out.Knowledge of BOMs and ensure BOM accuracy and impacts to MRP.Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
