POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the operations of our two food and beverage outlets, banquets, and catering services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, a passion for exceptional guest service, and the ability to lead and inspire a team. This position will report to the property's Director of Food and Beverage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT
Oversee daily operations of two food and beverage outlets, as well as banquets and catering services within the hotel.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure high standards of service and hospitality.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
OPERATIONS & QUALITY CONTROL
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverages, adhering to hotel standards and regulations.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in all areas of responsibility.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
GUEST SERVICE & EXPERIENCE
Maintain a strong presence in the outlets, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
Create and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and increase customer loyalty.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Develop and manage budgets for the food and beverage outlets, banquets, and catering services.
Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability.
Implement cost control measures without compromising quality and guest satisfaction.
Analyze financial reports and use data to drive strategic decision-making.
EVENT COORDINATION
Work closely with the events team to plan and execute successful banquets and catering functions.
Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their events are executed flawlessly.
Manage logistics, including setup, staffing, and breakdown of events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role in a hotel or high-volume establishment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
Proficiency in restaurant management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
