Bracing and SupportsRole Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Quality Assurance the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring materials are received and processed in compliance with Enovis Quality Manual and being built in compliance with customer quality requirements.Key Responsibilities:Provide guidance, as necessary, to junior department members.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Perform Inspections and generate reports as necessary.Perform Non-Destructive Examinations and measurements.Read customer specifications and quality assurance manual.Help during Audits and assist operations as needed.Assist in training new quality inspectors.Collect and organize data for Device History Records.Maintain organized quality control files.Recommend improvements in quality procedures and equipment.Inspect output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality.Check that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal requirements.Review blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods.Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database.Train the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.Propose improvements to the production process.Minimum Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma.5+ years of relevant experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.Desired Characteristics:Experience in training others preferred.Self-starter with the ability to work independently.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Fosters a positive work environment and encourages collaboration among the team.Basic knowledge and ability to use measuring tools (e.g., magnifiers, screwdrivers, calipers, rulers, etc.) and test equipment.Proficient in the use of computers/office equipment.Ability to read blueprints/schematics.Work environment | Physical demands:Typical warehouse environment, including the ability to lift to 40 lbs. and utilize a pallet jack.Physical Demands: standing, sitting, climbing, crouching/kneeling, lifting, carting, etc.We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceSpending and Savings Accounts401(k) PlanVacation, Sick Leave, and HolidaysIncome Protection PlansDiscounted Insurance RatesLegal ServicesEQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:Enovis provides equal employment opportunities based on merit, experience, and other work-related criteria and without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
