Supply Chain Co-Op students at Cox are considered to be an integral part of the Supply Chain staff where they are provided with projects/tasks that will challenge their academic aptitude and interpersonal skills.Supply Chain at Cox makes critical connections to deliver what matters. We operate within an integrated framework designed to fulfill customer demand: Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return, and Enable. Our Supply Chain Process, Change & Strategy team is accountable for simplifying the business and improving the employee experience through data driven problem solving and business insights. We work across the supply chain framework to deliver sustainable business processes and solutions on a project basis. We have various opportunities within our Supply Chain Operations groups for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to learn new skills, hone existing skills, and deliver real world organizational benefits and improvements.We seek growth mindsets, believe in balancing exploration and exploitation to produce results in the long run, have an awareness for the unexpected, focus on turning unforeseen events into positive outcomes, and strive to create processes and programs worthy of being carried on by others in support of the enterprise. We operate at all levels from front line to senior executives and manage a wide variety of projects across our portfolio.Projects/Assignments may include but are not limited to the following:Drive business efficiencies, improve quality, and propel improved internal customer interactions on a project basis using data driven problem solving and standard methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Human Centered Design, etc.).Assist in delivering and continuously refining Supply Chain’s strategic plan to guide operational decision making, investments, and performance management.Conduct market research and analysis on the impacts of global supply chain challenges on our business.Document as-is, current-state business processes in preparation for continuous improvement work.Build-out and publish current-state processes and or design new business process in Supply Chain’s iGrafx folders and align them to the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) framework.Assist in the delivery of process improvement and automation opportunities across multiple workstreams to enable a new organizational model.Attributes/Skills we seek:Learn and be curious.Think big and dive deep.Be conscientious.Act like an owner.Balance innovation and optimization.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements:Currently enrolled in a related degree program such as Supply Chain, Distribution, Business, Transportation, or other related degree program.Co-op position is located in Atlanta, GA; Cox Communications does not provide a housing allowance.Available to work full-time for the semester of the co-op program.Good academic standing: Candidates should have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.Preferred:One or more of the following:Microsoft Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint experience.Low/no-code platform development experience (Quickbase, ServiceNOW, etc.).Process automation/analysis experience (Power Automate, Power BI).Exposure to Supply Chain Business/process documentation experience (iGrafx, LucidChart).General understanding of business statistics.COMPANY OVERVIEWCox Communications and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers.
